Newpipe is getting updates on fdroid again and seem like will be getting updates for the foreseeable future as the issue stopping it is solved. in c/opensource@lemmy.ml

Pipepipe has been working fine for a long time, why would anyone go back to newpipe?

Does it auto download then too? I swear I looked all through that app. Couldn't get KeePass or obsidian to sync automatically

Nothing to configure..you specify folders, but they won't auto upload or download

How much maintenance does a simple SMS app need? What random apps are system apps? Beomite is not installed, not even sure qksms is, but I always use it. Never had a single issue removing any apps. Seems like you're just very uninformed
