The picture used in this article is literally the button to turn the feature off.

You’d think the “gas is too expensive” crowd would welcome a 5% decrease.

I’m all for making sure government spend (in the form of mileage credits) are proportional to fuel savings in reality.

I’m just not sure this government is unbiased here.

A different set of forces would activate those to be sure. I know rollover forces deploy side airbags.

Again, it’s a cybertruck, so its poor craftsmanship is probably enough to blame.

I feel like I have to address the airbag situation. Airbags don’t deploy upon impact (at least not directly), but rather upon any significant deceleration. Anytime the vehicle decelerates enough that your body is thrown forward with force is when an [front] airbag would deploy. You know the thing where your seatbelt locks up as you’re braking? Same principle, but a higher threshold.

So the father back up your point, I cannot see how an e-scooter, sideswiping or even being hit head-on, could cause enough deceleration that would deploy the airbags.

Then again, it’s the cyber truck, so from a “safety” perspective who knows.

Here’s a scary thought, what if Elon fully follows Von Brauns career but in reverse?

Indeed it has 126mm spacing (and yes, is steel,) but my 11s hub slides in without too much squeezing.

Unless I’m misinformed, I don’t believe Mel Brooks was involved in The Princess Bride.

I simply cannot fathom that an event that should never be forgotten is forgotten by people who belong to the group it happened to.

That is, until they use it to deflect any criticism of their actions.

Like the overall premise of the post asks, it just didn’t click. For people who love it, I don’t think they’re wrong. I generally like the humor, and the cast is great– like legitimately great. But it might be the medieval setting that I seldom find interesting, or the magical/mystical things that I never do.

What movie is it for you? For me, The Princess Bride.
