Played the first demo of Gothic they released, an that felt very different from the original. Will have to check out the new one. But, for anyone interested, the original games are still great to play.

I finally finished the Witcher 3 after 10 weeks and 160 hours, and have since moved to my computer for System Shock 2. Still early in the game, but it's really different from Nightdives remake of SS1.

Isn't there still a demo? I bought it the minute I reached the end of the demo.

I stopped upgrading when they stopped selling standalone offline software. Darktable is a good enough alternative to Lightroom, and most other software can be replaced if you are willing to relearn and create new workflows.

It's long, but also incredibly easy to pick up and play. I think I mostly rushed through Blood and Wine last time, don't know how much I will play this time. Will probably reach Toussaint this weekend.

8 weeks into my Witcher 3 replay on the deck. Finished the campaign and well into Hearts of stone. Looking forward to the lush second DLC.

Also played the Holy Gosh Darn, really funny game, and not to repetitive time loop gameplay.

My gaming 'puter is running win 10, and the plan is to replace it with one running Manjaro. Will have to see when that happens, not upgrading to win 11.

Working in Europe, small kitchen with just a handful of cooks. It's crazy busy, but we have gotten a union based contract, so that's nice. Wouldn't know what else to do, though I am getting older.

That's good to hear, Then I will give it a go on the deck when I get to it.

Death Stranding is one of the next games on my list to play. Is it worth playing on the deck?

Been playing Witcher 3 for five weeks now, am running around in Skellige for a little while. Recon I have a few more weeks with it.

Also tried some demos: Fishing Paradise, Loddlenaut, Nubby's Number Factory and Squirreled Away. Wishlisted Nubby, not sure the others are for me.

We hadde a board game day on saturday.

Bus: New to the group, felt like a family version of Food Chain Magnate. Really fun, and I like that you only have 20 actions total.

Concordia: New to me and one other of the group. A nice engine builder that seems to rely less on randomness than some of the others we play. We had a great time, even though I was more focused on engine building than scoring.

Fun facts: A party game, played while making pizza. Trying to rank each others response to a question.

Ito: Played while eating pizza. Another party game, here you are given a number, and everyone needs to answer a question in a way that relates to their number and place them face down trying to end up with a correct sequence. It's fine.

Good cop, bad cop: A short and simple hidden role game with guns.

Doodle dash: A drawing game with a time element, this is so fun because most of is tries to be done in five seconds, while the slowest players usually end up with just a few lines.

Bang! the dice game: Another hidden role game, this with dice. Still fun after all these years.

We started the day with just the core group, then around pizza time the casual players showed up and we pivoted to games for 7-8 players. Fun day, even if we played easier games. We rally liked Bus.

Been playing Witcher 3 on the deck for a few weeks. The text could be a bit bigger, but it otherwise runs great.
