I would rather someone bring sweaty socks in to my house than dirt, microplastics, gum and literal shit on the bottom of their shoes.
We went from a shoes on / dont care to a shoes off / dont you fucking dare household when we had a kid and the difference is unfathomable.
It actually repulses me that I can walk around in houses people consider clean, with bare feet, and my soles turn black. Not to mention then dragging that in to bed with you.
I think its more so willfully ignorant than stupid, which in itself could be seen as stupid I guess.
If my 80 y/o grandma can do it then noone has an excuse
I have a weird switcheroo situation. My family came across no worries but my friend group, nobody switched.
I deleted all the meta bullshit a while back and went 100% signal, let everyone know where they could reach me and so far 1 person has contacted me via signal (in about 6 months). Feels kind of shit tbh.
Still cant understand why people stay on those platforms full of ads and horrible UI when soooo much better alternatives are out there.
This sounds like one of those raps that absolutely anyone from a channel 5 video spits unprompted
Its hard to balance staying informed and staying away from political content these days.
I personally have a few key word filters on lemmy and still cant avoid all the news about whats happening in the US, Iran, Gaza etc.
I just want to know whats going on in the world so I can adapt accordingly but man its nothing but doom, depressing, downright scary times.
And I dont even have any other social media except for lemmy. I cant imagine the people also dealing with tiktok, meta and all that shit too thats designed to make you feel as shit as possible for engagement.
Ah I see, that must be it
Owl - Ive been using it all day without issue? With an exchange account...
I agree, I think its such a bitch because a music collection is very personal and maybe your tags dont line up with what the general public think.
I've let Lidarr do the metadata for all my tracks as I would go insane trying to do it myself with the sheer quantity.
The tools we have these days to own and manage our own collections is incredible - its a shame so many people still use spotify.
Yea I dont think many soundtracks would be in musicbrainz that might be a bit difficult.
Lidarr handled my 60k tracks collection like a dream though!
Oh wow your catalogue is that fringe is it? Ive only had to add a few entries and I consider my tastes very broad and pretty niche for a lot of it!
So when the shit for brains nazi starts driving off at the end and actually does almost run over someone... Im assuming that someone had cause to unload a full clip through the windshield if they had a gun and get away with it, right? Right??
