Is anybody using the workout on demand program? I am curious how it is. Looking mostly for strength, core, yoga, HIIT, indoor cycle and treadmill workouts. Also do they have some trial offer?

Well done fellow Canadians. Let’s continue to chip away at it. Continue reducing US product purchases. Keep making agreements with other friendly countries.

Don’t come to us! Fighting back needs to happen within our country

Wouldn’t that be nice

I wish I could sign it!!

I did. They don’t care

What’s more important? Buying Canadian products or buying at a Canadian store? I am going with Canadian products.

Walmart sells more Canadian products than any other grocery store in my town. Even the local coop had almost exclusively US produce all summer.

I haven’t even connected it to the app yet but I’ll check when I do. Thanks!

I got a kit and just assembled it. I tried to google it and I can turn it off but it powers back up after 5 minutes or so. I haven’t even set it up yet. Any ideas what’s going on?

It’s really sad to watch them go down the drain. It was a Canadian company to be proud of. Remember their Christmas projects? The good old days.

I have the same problem. There is a Lemmy community for Jellyfin. Maybe we need to ask there. I run both right now. Plex and Jellyfin. I use Jellyfin whenever I can but still have plex for that issue

I have never bought from Uline but have this saved in case I need something: https://refuseuline.com/ They include a Canadian list as well

I got my order and the vanilla is ok. It’s not as good as the one from BEC but I pay more. BEC price for 2x 2kg is more than CP charges for 6x 2kg!! I’ll have to try the unflavoured too and see what I prefer but I think that’s going to save me a ton of money!

I am looking for single serve (5g) packs for traveling. Has anybody seen any?

Edited to add: I actually found some on Amazon 😏 but still interested to see if somebody has tips for buying from a friendly place.

I will be signing up if they offer that. New skills are always good. Best case we never have to use them but worst case we are a bit more prepared.

“Those who join the civil defence corps would face less restrictive age limits and meet lower physical and fitness requirements. Their training would be limited to five days per year to ensure accessibility.

In that short period, volunteers would learn skills such as shooting, moving, communicating, driving a truck and flying a drone, according to the mobilization plan. Canada’s civilian force would get medical coverage during training, but not pensionable benefits.”

Is anybody buying whey isolate from them? Right now I am buying Body Energy Club‘s clean isolate and it got quite pricey in recent months.

I see that Canadian Protein has vanilla with stevia and also unflavoured in bulk. Great pricing. How is the quality and (non) flavour?

I see some bad reviews regarding shipping and customer service that worries me a bit. Especially since they offer some sort of “shipping protection” for $7.99 at checkout?!

Any input would be appreciated!

Has anybody tried a T1000-E as Rnode? I am super new to all of this and just trying to figure out what hardware I need. Otherwise I would go and order a Heltec V3 which I believe is supported.

Finally after over a month of order issues I have one of my T1000-E trackers. It was easy to set up and connect and I see several nodes. Haven’t reached anybody yet. I am in Canada but the location on the map still shows Shenzhen in China. I don’t see anything to change that and was also expecting the GPS would do its thing?!

The lamp isn’t used/connected any longer. It’s wide open around the building but no way to get there. The tractor won’t reach. 😟

I am interested in getting a 3D printer but I have no idea where to even started. Is there such thing as a multi-purpose printer? What’s a good source to read up on printers, software, filament?

I am thinking small replacements items like drawer guides, funnel for espresso machine, essentially little parts and pieces that break around the house and farm. Also maybe some device cases (including outdoor ones) etc.

Ideally I don’t want a closed system. I have a Cricut for 10 years or so and I hate being locked into the app so much. Unless there is a really, really good reason.

Edited to add: Thank you all! What an amazing community!

Has anybody heard about this? I ordered a couple beginning of the month. They were back ordered with an estimated re-stock date of Oct 25. Now I get an email they are discontinued and it sounds like the order is cancelled. 😞

I tried to find another store in Canada who sells it but no luck?! Also if it’s discontinued what should I buy instead?

👋🏻 Brand new to this. I just ordered 2x T1000-E. I can’t wait to try it.

Would anybody know if there is a store in Calgary that sells drones and controllers etc? I am looking for a Radiomaster pocket ELRS.
