I love video games, but I told my cousin not to go into that field because of how terribly game developers are treated/paid, and that if your plan is to make an indie hit like balatro or Minecraft, you probably would have better luck playing the lottery. But I'm not really in that industry, I've just read a lot of articles. If anyone is actually in that line of work, would you say my warning was accurate?

For years I've read about scientists creating a bacteria that would live in our mouth and produce stuff that would kill cavity-causing bacteria, and how it was almost ready. If we nabbing scientists, I'm tempted to get one of them.

It says the current tech is only 15% efficient vs current AC which is 20-30%, so no it would be more expensive to run. Since it doesn't exist as a product yet, we can't really compare initial installation costs, and probably not maintenance costs either. Hopefully they can improve on the efficiency, but there may be a theoretical maximum efficiency and I have no idea if that's higher than 30% or not

I've got good news! The full quote is "Great minds think alike, but fools seldom differ."

So it can still apply to you, it just means you're calling OP a fool too 😄

I assume you mean having the citizens rise up and overthrow the government? Problem is, if you try to do that in your own, you'll get arrested/killed without really stopping anything, and if you try to organize with people online, you're really likely to be get arrested before you can pull it off. So I think it's not quite as easy as "we know how to fix it we're just lazy and scared"

"Ah yes, that is a conflict, I see that now. Here, I think I have a conflict resolution in mind..."
