I work for a MSP, and we have a chat for "account managers", a non technical position where they interact with the clients upper management, and tell them stuff we as techs shouldn't (hard no's, complaints, large project recommendations etc).
That chat is full of gifs, jokes, emoticons and some memes. I feel like the weird one not feeling comfortable doing that there. I do all that stuff too, but usually in smaller more private chats.

Aside from nearby structures, generally you don't want fire releasing toxins in the atmosphere,even were it just wood. Likely the are plastics, bad paints,and multiple other things we wouldn't want just burnt willy nilly. Not that I'm against the destruction of the place; fuck that place.

The lowest my self esteem had ever been was when I was religious. I'd avoid porn and masturbation for months on end, 6-8 etc, but eventually I'd get a little too turned on and "succumb" to it. I remember hearing peers discuss it as something disgusting, and I considered myself too impure to consider having a relationship.
I won't say my self esteem is amazing now, but I feel much better about myself, and don't think of myself as some terrible sinner who doesn't deserve happiness.

I don't know for sure, but I'm paid pretty high here comparatively for the company (I get paid less than I should for the actual experience and position, but it's a smaller company that pays everyone less), and I know I got paid more than some of my previous managers here while I was under them. I was also paid like 20k more than someone who started 2 years before me.
It's more the previous owners negotiated directly with each hire and I knew what I was worth more than they did.
