Mine was stable when you first posted this, but after maybe an hour I started getting 500s again. Currently if I try to look at subscriptions it throws that error, other areas seem ok at the moment.
I think Toot is only for Mastodon? There isn't an app for Kbin yet.
NSFW tag from Lemmy doesn't transfer across. Ernest said it's the highest priority thing to fix, so hopefully we'll get a fix here soon.
Notifications are running about a day behind. I've just had a load of my posts federated to Mastodon after two days. The server is overloaded, have patience.
It was a comment on a thread posted from Mastodon to test something. I deleted it and the thread afterwards, but it came through OK without me trying to force it. I've posted to a kbin.social group in the last hour and it doesn't appear to have federated though (none of my posts from this account have reached Mastodon in the last 5 hours). I'm hoping this is just down to server load.
It was trailing behind by about a day, but, yes, no posts from non-fedia members is odd. Federation is working as I was playing with Mastodon and Fedia earlier and the posts were flowing.
It was deduced that I couldn't follow certain Mastodon accounts because they were marked as "bot". I'm not sure if Lemmy communities have flags attached to them which are effectively the same as Mastodon's "bot" one, but if so maybe that community does? Is there anything different about it compared to the ones which work?
I think it's a bug. Can't see it in the tracker so it might be worth reporting?

The Calckey thing is because it's a thread. Calckey (I've not used it so just guessing) probably puts the title as the CW, and the body below.
If you post a microblog you'll get just the text.
The microblogs in a magazine are federated from Mastodon hashtags, if you follow a Mastodon user you'll see all their posts in the microblog section. Mastodon users see all threads and Microblogs if they are following a magazine (in theory; actually I'm not sure if this is working), and all user threads, comments and posts if they are following a user. Lemmy users will only see threads and comments. Kbin is a bit of a bridge between the two!
If you follow Mastodon users and Kbin magazines, in your "subscriptions - microblog" section you will see posts from all the Mastodon users you follow, plus all the microblog posts in magazines (which might have been created through "new post" in Kbin, but more likely have been federated from Mastodon and channelled into those magazines by matching hashtags), so following a magazine here is a bit like following a hashtag on Mastodon, in the microblog view, but you also get the threads in the threads view. #Kbin could replace #Mastodon for me once it is a bit more mature and has a decent app - it offers the best of both worlds.
I'm not entirely sure what happens if you post a #microblog in a #Lemmy community, probably it will federate to your followers but not to the community. Maybe this needs experimenting with!
(btw, I've only been on here a couple of days so feel free to correct anything I have got wrong!)
Federation appears to have stopped again @jerry, but they do definitely escape - I can see all my posts up to yesterday from Mastodon.
Are you following your account here with your account on the other service? They won't populate otherwise.
