This one is one I've been waiting for. Haven't played it yet, but I'm seeing the word "masterpiece" being thrown around.

Just a few reviews so far, but they really like it.

Then you should definitely avoid the Deviator, which was caught even reusing assets from HK

I’ll give a pass to games in a series (i.e. “Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow”), but otherwise, tone it down “F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch”

I know it’s an issue not limited to Metroidvania, but geez - look at them all

Keep in mind — this is KOMO News, who regularly pushes the “crime” narrative as a political policy, independent of whether it’s accurate or not.

I never played Outer Wilds, but Tunic, Fez, Animal Well, the Witness, etc. are some of my absolute favorites. I’m with you…

The other type that I hate — a charm that is only available at the endgame that should appear sooner if it's to have any value to you playing. Case in point: a fast-travel charm in Blast Brigade that is only available as one of the very last acts. Great game, otherwise.
