Uhm, we have release pipelines in Azure DevOps that do all of this and much more with precision and reliability. Relying on an LLM for actual releases to production of all things seems like a pretty big and wholly unnecessary gamble.

Another publicly listed entity, the path for Coffee Stain is now set. Expect extreme monetization and dwindling quality. It's not their fault, it's what the stock market demands. Rip Coffee Stain Studios, I'll remember the good times fondly.

Only now did I realize this wasn't some Ai slop post! That's fucking hilarious!

TIL: The people on the bus are my friends! Yay!

It's crazy watching them shove LLM crap into every facet of their products just to placate idiot investors. Everyone knows it doesn't work and yet here we are.

People will pick up on whom to trust soon.

I did a very simple search for this year's holidays in my German state and whoo boy did it get a lot wrong! Left it's the ai slop, right are the correct answers. Obviously I've since disabled it completely to save the screen real estate.

I said it before and I'll say it again: the US will default on their debt, possibly soon. The current government isn't even trying to do anything to avoid this.

Ai search is the worst.

Yes, burning books, always a deed fondly remembered by history.

That's crazy and it will absolutely work.

It is a good grift, can't just let it end.

If Valve really wanted to make a splash, they could release a desktop version of SteamOS in October, right when support for Windows 10 ends. For additional damage, they could bundle in Half-Life 3. Just imagine the coverage this would get.

It's a looong read, but very interesting if you are into input device choices.

Babe, wake up! Kensington has shown a new trackball design concept.

I stumbled across this man laying out the current situation with such clarity, I just had to share it.

I just canceled my Amazon Prime membership, something I was almost afraid of. Phew, it's nice to have that off my back.

I've been shopping less and less at Amazon anyway and barely used prime video, so I'll probably won't even notice the difference.

Some of the cupboard doors in our kitchen started to ever so slightly skew over the years. It's been bugging me for weeks, so today I finally took the time to realign them neatly. Took me about two minutes and now everything looks tidy again.

Results were favorable. The trackball provided a 60.1% increase in throughput over the standard controller for novice participants. More impressively, it was shown to provide a 58.7% increase in throughput for participants already adept with the use of a standard controller.

I've been rocking the Kensington Orbit wired for years now and I've yet to find a better trackball.

Reasons:

  • works for both hands
  • scroll ring
  • big ball
  • wired
  • works reliably

I use the trackball with my left hand and a mouse with my right.

It seems like such a cheaply made product, but it just works so very, very well.
