haha... I only cool to 78!

We do go a bit lower in the evenings during heatwaves though to help remove heat when it's cooler outside than inside... but not a big enough difference for opening windows to help.

I think you took a bit of a joke reply... incredibly seriously

That said 78 in summer at least in my home is pretty reasonable as my house is fairly modern and has two zones.

My main culprit for messing with the thermostat has a habit of leaving their bedroom door closed all the time which causes heat to build up in their room... AC on and door closed is ineffective at cooling a sealed room so the room stays hot no matter how low the AC is set.

Yeah but like, kids always be fucking with the thermostat... lowering that shit to 74 in the summer and raising it to 70 in the winter.... I AM NOT MADE OF MONEY!!!

Cooling min is 78 Heating max is 68

If you have pets it may be wise to ignore the "When not home raise it 4-7 degrees in summer"

As a dad you will at some point spend way more of your time then you would like bitching about the thermostat

Touch Bar is one thing that apple did correct on the last 2 gens of Intel Macs. It got hate because those laptops SUCK and first gen Touch Bar made "ESC" a Touch Bar button... gross AF... but Touch Bar is something that on Mac.... I quite like.

If it had been introduced alongside M1 Timothy would've broken his arm from all the high-fives he got (assuming physical ESC key)... fight me

If it actually finds use... neat.... I guess

I love hauling with my bike....

but you seriously don't need a $4k cargo e-bike or an e-bike with a $600 trailer.

I am sure those things are nice but I move 75+ lbs at a time with my single speed and trash picked $150 kid trailer that I converted to haul cargo

The thing I like about bikes is how they can be as cheap as you want

Thats a good point and yes I was talking about heat map.

I think in order for that to happen (in a bigger city) a large number of people would have to make that same mistake fairly regularly.

With regards to sidewalks, yeah there is no indication that riding a sidewalk is more preferred to riding on the street for a route. That said in most cities / states I believe riding on sidewalks is illegal.

In California there is no state law so whether you are allowed to is determined by the city

I missed the part where the handlebar sensor was also trying to determine close passes from cars and not just do data logging.

I like an open system… but Strava literally has this and all you need is your phone

Glad you got it worked out!

I like to measure dongs

The BoltEV

this model was $32000 new (its what I paid for mine... same color and everything)

$32000 - $10420 = $21,580 value lost

$21,580 / 46,971mi = $0.459 lost per mile

And the Bolt EV ALL of them have a lemon warning (I think due to the battery... but GM made right on that)

Those are great internet antics!

https://endoverdose.net/

The only real hoop you have to jump through is to go through the online training course which takes about 30 minutes and is all about administration of the drug

I received my package today and feel it's important to have around with the current rise in opioid overdoses.

Their kit does not include CPR masks so I recommend purchasing some to keep with your doses. (Won't share a link due to Amazon boycott)

I would've bought some ages ago if I lived in a bigger city.
