I don't know if these bills would help, but there is a need for something to be done. The daughter of a friend of mine was raped by a Lyft driver a few years ago. Going home from a party, she didn't want to drive because she had been drinking. She thought Lyft was the safer option. It wasn't.

One of my favorite games is trying to get the best price on a game I want. My backlog is a few years long at this point, so I don't need to buy any new games. But if I can find one I want for 90% off or more, I usually buy it anyways.

Good to know. Also an easy problem to fix. Just use phenol free paper.

Huy Fong Sriracha. Just don't even bother buying any other bottle of "sriracha" sauce. It's not worth it. Your disappointment will be immeasurable and your day will be ruined.

Ukrainian flag - not political. Russian flag - political.

Israeli flag - not political. Palestinian flag - political.

I think that's the point of the lawsuit. You can't claim you're "completely apolitical and non-biased" when you actually support one side of a conflict and punish your employees who support the other side.

Really been enjoying Fallout London. Incredible work for a group of modders. The occasional bug doesn't bother me much. My only complaint is it's sometimes very hard to get from point A to point B on the map, and no explanation is given for why.

  1. Decide you want game
  2. Add it to wish list
  3. Seam tells you it's for sale 80% off
  4. Buy game
  5. Wait till you feel like playing that genre and no other games you want to play even more are sitting unplayed in your backlog
  6. Play "unplayed" game

Why is this a problem?

If one of our billionaires decided to dress up like a bat and beat up thugs it would be an improvement. Instead we get a dozen Lex Luthors and no batman.

I think damage reduction would be even more than that. The damage a projectile does to a target is directly related to its kinetic energy which is calculated as e = ½mv². So when you increase mass but reduce velocity you also reduce the damage by the square of the difference in velocity (I think). As long as the damage just relies on the physics of the projectile and not magic, that is.

For real. Who would have guessed the most realistic prediction from Star Trek was talking directly to the computer. Whereas the least realistic one is that a post-scarcity society would benefit average people.

It looks to me like a third party just scraped a lot of the content from northernbrewer.com. Some are more obvious than others. The prices are too good to be true as well. I was about to buy a bunch of stuff 'on sale', but it's just too sketchy, I think.

It would be nice if it were legit, though. Those are some good prices.
