Brother the fact you use those terms indicates you are an insecure pos. Can bet my last pound you wouldn’t talk to me like that to my face, just because I’ve got empathy for days doesn’t mean I’m above putting a bigot on the ground.

Be better my guy, if only for the sake of your mental health. Hatred is a killer and will just drag you down.

If you ever want to chat civilly about anything hmu, I got you. I believe people can change if given some compassion and actually interact with the people you hate.

Where’s the line drawn here?

Like I never like to label all X as Y for a start, but if you own a Porsche are you a wanker? I own a Mercedes ~~I am~~ am I a wanker?

Is it sports car with little utility? I have many things that make me happy with little utility.

Edit: Removed the Freudian slip 😦

All three of those examples got away with it for literal decades.

Literally what I’m saying. They got away with it because they had utility for other people and when they no longer did that’s when they get indicted, cause people stop running cover.

Haha how dare you out pedant me.

This is great. Appreciate you taking the time. I’m in no state to read these right now, had surgery with a GA today, but I’ve added them to my reading list.

I don’t believe that’s what I said, or at least it wasn’t my intention. I was more trying to highlight that wealthy people (which are not in the way to being poor) will be protected by the people that stand to gain from that protection, not simply for being rich.

I also explicitly said that the justice system does favour the rich, not in a malicious way but more because we have a system that means rich folk can afford more man hours which translates to a better defence.

I want to be clear I’m not defending rich folk here, just being a pedant I guess.

Any sources for me to learn more about this? Not doubting but also curious.

The thing that is up is Israeli lobbyists are pushing hard for this.

Edit: GA hit me hard and this made no sense when I read it back so edited.

Because it gets attention on the issue? I don’t really know you’d have to ask him.

I don’t care that he did it, I care that people and government are more outraged over this than literal tens of thousands of dead innocents. And that we support genocide as a country.

Furthermore, I’m not sure I feel comfortable calling a resistence group terrorists if we don’t give the IDF the same label.

Are we going to arrest the Brits who went to fight for the IDF.

I do too.

Are Hezbollah any worse than Israel? I believe we should label Israel a terrorist state. If we don’t do that then I see Hezbollah as a resistance group.

How can you fight oppression if you have to stick to the rules lest you be labelled a terrorist.

I don’t think Liam is an asshole and it’s deplorable that he is held to a higher standard than others. How many brits have gone to Gaza to help the IDF literally kill people, but this guy fly a flag an is charged. Fuck Israeli lobbying for the to happen.

I find this very concerning that people protesting a genocide and display flags of terrorist organisations is somehow a worse crime that the actual genocide itself.

It doesn’t make sense when we have musicians being held to a higher standard than countries and our own fucking government. Makes me want to fly a Hezbollah flag myself. I would argue flying the Union Jack is supporting terror around the world. The same as that Yankee flag.

Edit: Ive just got out of surgery with a GA so will reply to these once I feel human again.

So I saw an ad for this cool looking led strip thing you can put in your car and then it has lots of settings.

Clicked the link and it took me to Temu, figure sure I’ll give it a go and download the app.

OMFG what the heck is this gamified shopping?

When it loaded I swear to Odin it went like a casino and said you can get the item you clicked on for free and you can choose another 5 items.

So I’m browsing through all this crap I don’t really want and adding things to move on. After selecting all free items it then said you win again or something and gave me more things to pick.

Then at the end it’s like right spend $35 to get all the other stuff for free, but said the original thing I clicked to get was not available. It’s like a bait and switch and I’m thinking I don’t any of this really I just wanted the cool led strip thing and to be left alone.

Honestly I really can’t believe people would use this place at all.

As the title says I’m looking for advice from people that have legal experience.

I bought a used car in November 2023 and from the start it had issues. Come February 2024 I can’t drive it anymore as I’m putting coolant in several times in a journey and after a couple of repairs it’s determined it needs a new head gasket. They refuse to pay for it at the finance company so I go to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

The FOS rules in my favour and orders them to refund and compensate me and remove the car from my drive.

I’ve had my refund but the car is still on my drive 4 weeks later and the finance company says they’re chasing Zuto to remove the vehicle.

Last week I sent a letter stating if not removed but X date then the rate would be £20 a day for storage. They didn’t respond.

I called again and told them I need this sorting as I will move the car to the street where it will likely be towed for no tax or insurance, but I don’t believe I am legally allowed to do this.

My question is what are my options, and will I be able to get the storage fee of £20 a day from them.

Thanks.

Anybody else had this issue.

I have a media server setup with Plex and Jellyfin and now people here prefer Jellyfin but Plex is available on more devices and my users prefer it.

Now I tried watching several movies on iPhone via Plex app and it kept freezing and I had to exit and start again and half the time it wouldn’t remember where I was. I tried to watch the same movies on Jellyfin, again on iPhone and no issue.

Any thoughts? I did watch a movie at my friends on Plex through Firestick with no issue so not sure if it’s iOS or my home network and Plex or something else.

As the title states I am wondering what would be a good machine to build for my piracy. I am open to buying a used machine on eBay and expanding over time.

The last time I was sailing I had a Dell R610 Server Rack but I don’t have the space for this now. So something that can sit behind a tv stand in the corner next to the router.

  • I would be running Plex / Jellyfin
  • Some kind of torrent software
  • Something for NZBs if still viable
  • then the usual SONARR, RADARR, etc

I would like to be able to let friends connect from outside my house to stream media and allow them access so they can add films and the server goes off and finds them, extracts them, and adds them to the media server.

Thanks.

The left leg is bent at the knee where the lower leg is flat against the seat and the foot is on the seat under the buttocks.

As the title states I am confused on this matter. The way I see it, the USA has a two party system and in the next few weeks they’re either going to have Trump or Harris as president, come inauguration day. With this in mind doesn’t it make sense to vote for the person least likely to escalate the situation even more.

Giving your vote to an independent or worse not voting at all, just gives more of a chance for Trump to win the election and then who knows what crazy stuff he will allow, or encourage, Israel to get away with.

I really don’t get the logic. As sure nobody wants to vote for a party allowing these heinous crimes to be committed, but given you’re getting one of them shouldn’t you be voting for the one that will be the least horrible of the two.

Please don’t come at me with pro-Israeli rhetoric as this isn’t the post for that, I’m asking about why people would make such choices and I’m not up for debate on the Middle East, on this post, you can DM me for that.

Edit: Bedtime here now so will respond to incoming comments in the morning, love starting the day with an inbox full 😊.

Edit 2: This blew up, it’s a little overwhelming right now but I do intent on replying to everybody that took the time to comment. Just need to get in the right headspace.

So, the question seems vague but I will elaborate.

I’m a software developer, but I don’t do games; yet I have an urge to try and make something.

It just seems so overwhelming, I know I want to make a game where the main character is a cat and you have to complete missions, but where do you even begin. Where does the art come from? How do you refine your idea, if all you know is you want a cat game? How do you choose an engine? Do you just start with the basics and get a cat walking around and see what comes next? If you can’t hash out the idea then so you have a right to even try and make a game? Is it best to follow tutorials to get used to making games? I feel the answer to that is no as before I become a software developer, tutorial hell was a thing and I realised I needed to make things for me to actually learn.

Sorry for all the questions, this was just a stream of thought.
