Currently a couple of chapters into Deadhouse gates. I do enjoy it, but the malazan universe is so massive and filled with so many characters, that I need the malazan wiki around, just in case I need to check something.

Not surprising to see such legal moves under the guise of protecting children, however the article is full of generalizations and vague language. It will be interesting to see what the practical implications of this law will be, and what we need to do to protect ourselves from impromptu searches of our electronic devices.

I barely understand the "memes" in linuxsucks, it's just a massive circle jerk.

I feel like we have very different definitions on the word "terminal" and "power user".

None of the features feel like it belong to a terminal and I doubt the AI will give good answers to complicated technical questions. Also, it probably takes more keystrokes to update your Ubuntu box using "prompt language", rather than a simple Ctrl-R and finding the command you need.

I'm curious as to why you buy these homes? Is it to buy land that can be sold at a profit later? Is it to rebuild the houses and sell for profit?

Short term might work, but it seem like incredibly high risk long term. What am I missing?

I think the expression 'no shit, Sherlock', is a fitting desciption to the conclusion of that inquiry.

We all nothing's going to happen to the landlord, it will be business as usual, nothing to see here.
