Orion is better for iPhones in my opinion as you can add your own block lists (including uBlock’s lists) and theoretically install your own extensions (which does not seem to work great), although quite buggy
By the way let’s take a moment to appreciate that it’s the People magazine that successfully facts-checks Trump

I got a report for the news coming from an unreliable source, so I've checked it and indeed it's misleading: it's framing a single satirical Reddit quip from 2022 as substantive "Biden praise" "before the shooting"
You can still use most of their bypasses without installing an extension, they have a filter list for uBlock too: https://gitflic.ru/project/magnolia1234/bypass-paywalls-clean-filters
I recommend just throwing it in into your uBlock’s filters list
