Yes. Unless it's the rare occasion I want to play something competitive like CSGO then I'd use m&k.

1 song. Sometimes you gotta hear it on repeat.

More often it'll be an album and I might play it twice in a row.

For an actual playlist of different songs, I only have two that I listen to frequently;

One with hundreds of personal favourites.

And another with new(or just new to me) stuff I'm interested in hearing, or want to hear again after a long time. I'll listen through and remove stuff if I don't care to hear it again. Sometimes music stays on there for months until I'm "done" with it. And the length fluctuates anywhere from around 20 to 2000 songs or so.

Lorde and RTJ are both great. If you enjoyed Lorde but were afraid to admit it, that'd be the only thing revoking your man card.

Gorguts - Obscura

Death metal band takes death metal and flips it on its head. I forget the exact phrasing from an interview with the frontman Luc Lemay, but he said they wanted to make their instruments speak in a new way. It's highly experimental and maybe tough to digest even for death metal fans, but it's undeniably unique and brilliant.

Hell yeah. And Bergtatt, "ahh, just right".

They sang songs with lyrics about New York together and that was that.

Other, less-likely factors:

New York loves Mamdani. Trump loves New York.

Trump wants to align himself with winners, and Mamdani is a winner.

Mamdani explained to him how doing what is good for New Yorkers would result in a boom for businesses and the economy.

He feels comradery over the ragebait questions from the press.

The writing is on the wall with a low approval rating and the Epstein Files. He sees his loss of support and party circling like hyenas. He's desperate and/or willing to try something different to save face. Maybe he becomes a Democrat. He never admitted to supporting Project 2025 and friends, and would betray them to serve himself. He doesn't give a shit as long as he stays in power. Woke Trump 2026.

Frequency illusion going hard. This is my second time hearing the term "wrist breaker". The first time was earlier today.

Ulver's "Nattens Madrigal". Bees in a tin can.

Hilarious and accurate. And that one acoustic passage that makes you think "hey maybe there will be more like this".

Multiple fountain drinks weren't enough so he called in the can of root beer for backup

I'm also a PC gamer who prefers using a controller. No doubt a mouse is better for aiming, I just find a controller more comfortable and easier to relax with while playing, especially after working a desk job all day.

You should check out Remnant 2 and Risk of Rain 2.

I cast Occam's Razor on your theory.

There doesn't need to be a grand plan to explain what's going on. Besides, if people actually followed what Jesus taught we'd be at least a little better off. We can hardly work together for a greater good let alone stick to some alien plan.

My theory is this ball of idiots is bumbling around and doing idiot things against its better judgement. Smart enough to have made it this far, but dumb enough to fuck it up.

My Linux Mint Cinnamon won't boot up. It's getting stuck on this screen and I don't know what to do to proceed. Before this screen appears it shows the LM logo for a moment.

I'm a total noob and just been using this for a month or two. Did not make any recent changes that I can recall.

I'm learning as I go. Proud of getting some interaction with the environment working. Still lots of bugs to sort out, especially player and camera movement!

I always wanted to try this game when I was a kid. When checking out reviews on Steam I noticed someone mention that Sega was giving it away for free for their 60th anniversary (a few years ago), and that website is still up and running. Long story short, I tried it and it works. Replacing the localhost part of the URL was necessary as the screenshot mentions.

Among some friends I seem to be the odd one out who doesn't like heat and the sun. To me an overcast fall day, 10C is perfect. Rain is welcome if it does not overstay its welcome.
