A cool feature on the ridge between Slovakia and Poland (UIAA 3)
In Arthur's Pass, New Zealand
We were away for a week and left it on the side of the road. Doesn't look like they were particularly competent, as they ruined the ignition but didn't manage to start it.
They left quite a mess, bit annoyed to be honest.
He's always been a pretty controversial figure, but I feel like he used to be a bit wittier and more coherent. Definitely seems like he's gone off the rails the last few years.
To be honest, not heaps of gear on the pitch - it's pretty cruisy climbing though (maybe 15, in Ewbanks)
There's heaps in Tasmania, pretty accessible grades too!
+1 for Cradle, I enjoyed it so much more than I thought I was going to
The Waking Fire by Anthony Ryan is pretty great, or the Black Prism by Brent Weeks.
Anything by Brandon Sanderson is great (The Stormlight Archives or Mistborn is probably the best starting point).
It's a 25 in the Ewbanks system, so I think a 7b in the French scale. Really fun climb! There's a bit more detail on The Crag
