Each COVID strain was more contagious than the last with no reduction in lethality and they stuck their heads in the sand

To hold no opinion is to support the status quo as it stands
Yeah if you short Tesla at $10 and they go bankrupt, you made $10. If they do a hype bubble and go to $100 you need to pay $100 back
A red star is rising
.world preemptively defederated from hexbear to avoid getting flooded with leftists, so we don't get any of their posts on our pages unless they're external links like this
Same, dude would leap to the most negative interpretation of anything. Funny power poster but I have to imagine he was to the rest of the fediverse as bmf is to us, just completely unhinged posting nobody would understand unless they were ten layers deep in self-referential irony
There's a shortage because some jackass keeps blowing it all on the stunt budget
Quinoa, couscous, and hummus are all incredibly simple to prepare in bulk and are really cheap but ok
We need more of those rich eccentrics that tried to invent powered flight and kept killing themselves by gently crashing gliders with eight vertically stacked wings
I remember seeing some videos discussing how the cybertruck doesn't do anything to prevent closing hoods etc from possibly injuring a person. The comments were full of people going "who would ever do that on purpose" with the replies all along the lines of "nobody, but you don't want to lose a finger because you weren't paying attention".
And I guess now dudes are intentionally sticking their fingers in the trucks to get maimed on purpose
Deck-builders, MMOs, survival-crafting, early access, GaaS. I typically avoid soulslikes but I've enjoyed Elden Ring specifically. Tried Lies of P but kind of fell off from it. Did enjoy Zomboid until I reached a stable "not gonna die from winter or lack of food, infinite ammo" state. I just don't really like games that don't have somewhere to end.
Personally, there's something more ritual to listening to music on a record compared to any digital medium. I'm not gonna jerk off about analog better or whatever, but to listen to a record you need a record player and possibly a speaker, you need to physically place that record in the player, and you listen to the record in the order the music was put down on it. It's a different form of consumption than putting on a Spotify playlist on the bus.
