And this is why they're absolutely winning. Why are they dominating the entire media landscape and are we just sitting back? Is it only because an average lie is easier to believe in than the difficult truth? Or should we become more angry at them?

They don't even kill them, they just scare them off their boats using 'fear as a weapon'.

Just breath through your mouth, works like a charm

I have a frustratingly low amount of time and energy lately unfortunately. But I did finally 3d print and hang my new headphone holder on the wall, so it's something

Pippin is learning new tricks and always joins when we take a walk through the park: Ergo, Pippin is a dog.

Hey, didn't that woman on the left had cancer or something? Wonder how she's doing..

I sleep so much better after I started doing this. Seriously, try it out for like a week/month and you'll never go back, I swear

Omg I know that brand, I gave it as a present to a friend of mine last weekend. Did you get a matching hoodie as well? The pictures of the dog/human combos both wearing the same colours are just astonishingly perfect.

In my opinion, it's always been about determinism and convergent evolution. Determinism states that if the cards were reshuffled and evolution were to take place again from the beginning, more or less the same would happen. There wouldn't be sentient octopuses or hive mind ants controlling the planet, because there are simple evolutionary pressures giving rise to features that eventually lead to more or less bipedal apes.

This hooks into convergent evolution. This is about the fact that features like wings and eyes were so successful in terms of evolution they actually evolved independently of each other multiple times. Eyes evolved in different lineages and evolutionary pathways around 65 times during the history of earth. This indicates that simple evolutionary pressures (like needing to look around) will always end up with something that is a lens based retinal pigmented organ. This deterministic view of evolution leads many to believe that on another planet that looks like earth, inhabitants will look like us due to the rules and constraints of evolution.

When you piss off a woman with a perm in your restaurant and ten minutes later several apache helicopters rain down hellfire on your establishment.

This was somewhere near Lasörling, took around 90 pictures, one of which right after sundown for the foreground. Erasing planes and satellites took me hours. This might be my best star trail picture.

Both. Sometimes he hears us talking and comes screaming. But mostly we come and go together, except if he gets distracted and vanishes of course.

Loves to take walks with me through the park near our house

Kind reminder that the first solar panels had an efficiency of around 10%, and are now at 22%. The cost of photovoltaics has decreased 60% over the past decade alone.

Of course there is no 'silver bullet'. But the researchers of the original article still recommend working on projects like these.
