I read the word gif online MANY times before ever hearing any soul pronounce it. In my head it just makes so much more sense as a soft J. No one is choosing to pronounce it with a soft J because of peanut butter, that’s fucking dumb.

You make it sound like hard G is “correct”. There’s no correct. It’s the same as every other English word that has several different correct pronunciations.

Get off your high horse and stop being a complete asshole. Just let people pronounce things how they want, everyone knows what they are saying. You know, the entire point of a language.

When you first set it up it asks what you want to see, you probably just kept everything. Seems odd to purposely keep all their stuff, then complain about seeing all their stuff.

If plex is “complex” to you then I don’t know what to tell you, my parents can use it with zero issue, and that’s saying something.

Anecdotal, but I’ve never had a phone break on me. Every phone I’ve replaced still technically worked, but was just older. I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of people are the same.

One of the best things about iOS is they can’t do this.

They did not. They gave a standing ovation to a speech.

I read people are doing it because they (incorrectly) think that LLM’s can’t be trained with their “gibberish”

Read the article, title is clickbait.

You weren’t ousted because of the colour, that’s ridiculous. You were ousted because your phone didn’t support group chats with iPhones. Obviously still an Apple issue but it’s pretty stupid to claim it was because of the colour.

You mean you don’t like t-shirts made with the dimensions of a cardboard box? Interesting.

That’s interesting to me, I always thought it was more of an American thing. I’m in Canada and a Big Mac meal is 11.49. Breakfast with chicken McMuffin, hash brown, and coffee is $5. Obviously not super cheap like it used to be but it doesn’t seem unreasonable to me.
