Children and spouses with their families I assume. At least judging be the one black person.

It is very likely. Though we only have animal examples. And multiple people shared one category so there probably was some system behind it.

Looks like the little wire trees - but the tree is actually a bunch of swords.

You usually invite guests to the wedding, so I'd assume bride and groom would be safe under this logic.

The parents however....

I imagine the main issue is the schools being different places. Kaer Morhen should be the single "school building" of the witchers. Makes sense with Geralt being a White Wolf too - nickname makes more sense if not everybody around is a wolf.

But there are clearly differences between the people with different medalions - like the cats mostly becoming assassins or swords for hire. I'd be really interested in him explaining the different medalions someday.

Edit: also makes me wonder what schools/medalions the others had. Never thought about this one, not sure if it is mentioned.

So, if even Nintendo doesn't do anything against it, then it means its legal. xD

Hah, can't argue with that.

I don't really see into the legal stuff, but I think it is a grey area if you do it independently, without a license from the IP holders. You are technically using their IP and stuff I think. It is especially questionable if you take money for running the service - even if it is donations for just running it and there would be no profit - companies could see it as potentiel profiteering off of their product.

There are examples of such servers running with the publishers blessing - there is a private server for City of Heroes (called Homecoming I think?) which got official license from NCSoft to run it. This is only private server that I know off that is 100% legal.

As far as I can tell from a quick look, this is in no way official. Private servers for online games exist for decades by now (at least for MMOs). The issue is the legally grey area (or outright legally dark area) these exist in and that (I assume) it's not that easy to make them with people.having to backwards engineer stuff.

She didn't - she said she doesn't know how to play and doesn't want to spoil the game. The other guys are trying to be inclusive and Mr. True would deserve a Mr. True special tbh.

I never tried swimming without my nipples. Never gave me any issues.

So far so good!

Sweet, thanks for the heads-up. I gave up and used .social account but will try with .zip. Good news on the "saved" stuff being hopefuly fixed as well.

To be fair, that one made me even more sad.

A good source of folklore and surviving pagan practices are church documents that describes practices evident in pre-christian Roman and Greek sources, archeological evidence, and early modern folkloric sources.

This book is the longest description I have read of this type of source. It discusses to what extend these texts can be read as actual evidence of existing practices, or just per verbatim repetitions of existing church texts. It never really concludes anything but mostly agrees that these really are evidence of existing practices.

It is split in multiple sections for different types of practices.

Article detailing an 8th century description of Saxon paganism. Sadly, the full text is lost, but we have the index of the text and that is enough to enlighten us about the existence of many practices described in other sources, and many that existed until recently or even still exist.

Anybody else having this issue? On my piefed.social account all seems to be working well but when I try switching to piefed.zip it won't load most of the time.
