I did it not so long ago. I don't miss Windows at all. I do still have 10 installed on my PC just in case, though.

Haha, I hope it collapses on him.
Yeah, if anything, I feel like a guy paying $200 for a meal would expect something in return and might get aggressive.
What if I DM you in perfect English?
I didn't know Franklin was Canadian. That's cool.
I couldn't wait for Christmas and just spent the evening trying to switch to Wayland to no avail... I keep losing signal after I log in.
It's not that I don't enjoy the videos (as they have nothing to do with the tech mentioned in the description). It's just so bizarre that so many videos have these descriptions.
Same! But have you seen these video descriptions that I'm talking about? It's completely unrelated to the actual video content.
That's an entirely different distro right? I'm finally starting to get things right with Arch so I'm not sure if I'm ready to jump ships quite yet, haha. But thanks for the advice! If Wayland messes with my system too much, I might just jump ships.
Some people in this thread are saying this isn't true anymore so I might give it another go over the holidays. One thing I liked about Wayland was that I could have different resolutions for each of my two monitors. Something I can't seem to get working on X11. Wish me luck!
Alright. This Christmas holiday I'm gonna try to make the switch again. And it's not bad for gaming either?
I hope I can get Wayland to work on my PC by then. No matter what I try, I keep losing signal to my monitor after login.
