I'd love to join y'all, but have no time, barely put 40hrs into the game since I picked it up in January. Karlach is my fave on my solo though, and I fully intend on finishing the game in 2025

Apparently my wife and I collecting rocks counts as special interest because most of our friends are baffled by our collection, and the fact that we go out of our way to hunt down rocks + fossils.

Apparently out of all my friends I'm the only one who thinks it's fucking awesome to hold a 410 million year old seashell in my hands, or an awesome chunk of mica. The highlight from a few wknds back was when I found a wicked hunk of quartz + feldspar with a bunch of garnets in it. Our excitement is our own, and no one else's

Maybe if LLMs were "non-human intelligence" then Yes. But, No.

It's this, and it's also more than this: there has to be a limitation put on profit, a place at which the corporation achieves balance and success- enough to not feel the need to continually chip away at wages and working conditions or increasing enshittification in search of immediate short-term profits.

If enough profit is never enough, it will forever remain a constant battle between corporations and workers, and corporations and the public.

Stockwell Day should know better before spouting that misinformation. The fact that he doesn't, or just doesn't care, is reason enough to ignore him and his ilk

It wasn't my intention, but here it is. Still too frosty to plant outside but it's getting bigger every day.

This also isn't the best pot to have used for transplanting, I have a feeling this thing will be too big in a week.

Advice is welcome. No I won't eat this potato, because it's raw.

Old one got a tear in the front and was leaking water on the floor. Had to take apart a bunch of the machine, and I gotta say that the two seals (inner drum and outer casing) were both tricky to get on properly.

Doing a test load of laundry now, and there's no leaks (so far), so that's pretty excellent

Madouc (or, Maddy for short) is a lovable black void who enjoys food, more food, and music, especially whistling. Also, if you're talking on the phone with your speaker on, she's very, very interested.

The plastic face scratches very easily- I've had to buff out 2 scratches in 3 weeks, so I feel like it won't have much longevity for daily use. It's also kinda loud, and can be audibly heard clicking every single second when you're in a quiet space.

Feel free to drop by

Got Barley from the shelter a few weeks back, she's 7. All her life her name has been "Harley", but she responds to "Barley" so we're going with it

Not sure if it's the same mourning Dove as last time but I'm only a little creeped out so it's fine, it's totally fine. This is fine.

I'm not sure what made me so interesting

Meet Nami (lemmy.world)

We're currently Cat-Sitting for family members, this is Nami! She barks little meows like a dog, and absolutely loves staring out the window all day. :)

Taken last week, apparently it posed somewhat majestically
