That's right, I found them weird as well. I remember having the hierarchy info lost when viewed in Nextcloud, i.e. all tasks were at the same level with none of the nesting shown in the mobile app. In my case I wasn't using subtasks properly but rather used them as lists, so I just moved them to CalDAV lists 👹
