The person you are responding to is not arguing in good faith. I was going to say don't feed the troll but maybe it's better to refute the BS so unsuspecting people don't read them thinking they are correct.

He looks British to me. He is using a Bren gun and you can see the start of visor(?) that British helmets have but it's obscured by his pack.

To be fair the first time they mention "safety impacts" the words "safety impacts" is actually a link to a study on the subject. It would be better to include a brief summation since no one is going to pause reading an article in the first paragraph to read a study.

I think you are misreading the article or article summary. It is the states where LGBTQ rights are being restricted that have more hate crimes.

It's just a humor article. Not sure if you read past the headline but the whole article is about the positives of an e-bike. If anything maybe someone who by default is opposed to or on the fence about e-bikes might click on the article to get some negative takes and they find only positive ones,

I'll never understand trying juveniles as adults. Then what is the point of even having juvenile courts? There is a 13 year oldkid in Florida who killed his mother and is being tried as an adult. I understand it was a terrible crime but treating a middle school kid with the brain/reasoning ability of a 13 year old child as an adult is wrong.

The US Congress is legislative branch. Congress is divided into the Senate and House of Representatives.

What makes it confusing is that representatives are also referred to as "congressman" but senators are onky called senators. Despite both being members of Congress.

I find that people generally use "this" and "next" correctly but it depends how the week is being perceived. I think it might depend what day of the week it currently is. Like if it's Sunday, someone might say "next Saturday" to mean the first coming Saturday. But if someone says "next Saturday" on a Thursday they definitely mean the second coming Saturday.

Yeah. Roughly $90 a week in groceries gets me 21 meals + snacks... Not 5 meals.

We just add a bit of water to the dry food.

He's right. Just not in the way he means.
