I was excited about this project years ago but I am very skeptical of this ever going anywhere after they seemingly made no progress for years doing endless engine reworks before now seemingly giving up on those reworks and returning to their legacy engine?
I've been instead enjoying Vintage Story and it's modding community.
Zoom out? We're back to numbers from 2-3 weeks ago.
It comes out to be 73 hours over a month, per daily active. That's about 2.5hrs daily, which doesn't seem too far fetched considering it's cross-platform and also a large mobile audience.
And GTA for making killing people sound cool.

This is standard corpo/PR speak when addressing an issue, you refer to it as an "opportunity", there's an implied "to solve/address".
It's also no different than a RuneScape membership in the 2000s, or hell, Roblox Builder Club almost 20 years ago.
Both of those brought me an immense amount of joy and connection to others that I would never otherwise had gotten to experience living in an isolating rural area.
And the ad did exactly what it was intended to do. Getting everyone to talk about it. Any attention, is good attention, when their advertising is literally there to remind you that they exist.
