I tried to lookup if there was a solid explanation as to how this occurred. Apparently there isn't other than just the soil is infertile. But it isn't known what caused that patch of soil to be infertile. I love coffee. I am a coffee snob. Instant coffee is easy to pack and travel with. If you have access to hot water it's still coffee which is better than nothing. If you don't have access to hot water then it's a tastier caffeine pill.
