Grok wouldn't fuck up the spelling so badly

I don't know if it can (or should) be done without the negative aspects. The internet is really dangerous.

Children can be introduced to baking in a playful way, but still need to be taught how to do it safely. You wouldn't try to do it without mentioning that the oven is hot, or that they shouldn't play with knives.

Does it count as a U-turn if you're not actually reversing something? This is just a "turn".

Definitely! The name (negatively?) shapes how people think of the condition, too.

I'm a fan of "Executive Function Disorder", personally.

Fun Fact:

1955 is how long we've officially existed, originally under the name "hyperkinetic reaction of childhood". 😅

Definitely long enough to rub in the faces of the no one had ADHD in my day crowd, which is what's important.

If anyone gets the chance to hear her Tory councillor husband speak, like if he's on the news trying to defend her, I urge you to take it.

Last time he popped up on Sky I was shocked he could cope with basic tasks like staying upright and blinking his eyes, let alone representing his local area. It was like watching some mould give an interview. 😅

EDIT: Found him

Makes sense that it's paywalled, how else would they pay for such good journalists and editors? 👍

The media seems so confused, when it's so simple. People are being disappeared.

One of the cases – was it Mahmoud Khalil? – where they took issue with someone wearing a hoodie and disappeared them, I saw news sites saying, "This just isn't how we do things in this country! He deserves due process and a fair trial!"

So… you think putting someone on trial for wearing a hoodie is any less insane? Feels like you've sort of missed the point, BUT OKAY 👍

Very pleased, but very worried this is another weapon in Farage's bum-bag of horrors.

It's not like "the elites have undone Brexit!" has to be true to be effective. It just has to activate the braindead "i just want are sovrinty back" subset of voters who fucked us all over in the first place. 😬

I obviously agree with this – it's healthcare; no one should be denied the healthcare they need on the NHS. But I worry the NHS gender identity clinics are already so broken, unfit for purpose, underfunded, and just unrelentingly dogshit that this probably doesn't go far enough. (Everyone should watch Abigail Thorne's amazing video about this.)

I see the government responded saying, "people already have the right to care that meets their needs", but that doesn't address the fact it already doesn't.

Not that I know what to suggest instead, this is just me feeling defeated. 🤷‍♂️

Imagine being an NT person and just bumping into one topic after another like a moth, I'd much rather know how I got to wherever I ended up. 😅

💀💀💀

...Didn't think I'd ever get that gold achievement haha.

Then I went straight back to sleep.

(As for why I'm posting it here, I guess the word "emigrate" just makes me think of the leathery people in strappy tops on A Place in the Sun. 🤷‍♂️)

Discuss, I guess. 🙃
