I haven't seen as much "helping others" as "it's okay because US did something similar", so they don't even deny that Russia and China do bad things, they cheer for these things, which is just sad.
When we get rid of them all. ಠ_ಠ
Whenever there were worker protests in USSR/Eastern Bloc demanding to transfer ownership of means of production from party to trade unions, the party response usually was:
Lol no.
Well, except times when protesters were just shot. But that usually didn't happen or was orchestrated by CIA.
"Now he replaced Apple, next he'll replace Google" - this was probably the explanation YouTube didn't provide.
I think US can't even rely on itself for its own defence, especially with this sorry alcoholic placed in charge, and his demented boss too.
Nah, they threw a temper tantrum this night, launching a lot of drones and whatever they had left of Tu jets to bomb Ukrainian cities again.
Just shows how fragile and out of options they really are.
Plans love silence.
And it's never been truer. Doesn't even matter who sits in White House, strictly Ukrainian business that had to pass through as little ears as possible.
I mean, compared to that new guy, Anjey Dupa is a saint.
I've happened earlier upon what Lech Walesa wrote in Facebook (?) about results of these elections, and it's just heartbreaking.
When there were news about Russian airstrikes that killed Ukrainian civilians in last few weeks, I've seen folks on some certain part of Lemmy discuss it as "Well, what did Zelensky expect after Ukrainians terrorizing Moscow oblasts few days earlier".
And thing is - it was well documented what did Ukraine hit - with videos showing that it certainly wasn't some apartment complex, but it seems that mental gymnastics sticks to some people and that you can't really reason with tankies.
It's even better when it's folks like Lavrov speaking, with their fixation on Anglo-Saxons. Russia didn't yet exist before fifteenth century, but now they live in tenth.
Even genuine anti-war Russians have some hard cognitive dissonances when asked about all the small peoples of Russia, whose cultures and languages are about to be extinct because any display of your ethnic identity is labeled as "nationalism" and they're just slowly getting erased.
Not to mention the Crimea question. Make it make sense, that "nazi Ukraine" had TV channels broadcasting in Crimean Tathar language, while Russia doesn't.
