As someone who hates Disney's soulless quest to make every animated film into live-action I feel vindicated

Gardening tomorrow morning then taking a class at the gun range in the afternoon. Sunday is going to be an all-day medieval event, and Monday will be scrambling to prepare for the Pathfinder game I'm running in the evening

I'm not a fan of built-in mod managers. They're just walled gardens that the devs have a monopoly on. It's the biggest gripe I have about Factorio

Only downside is you have to install it for each game you want to mod,

Hopefully this means it defaults to a portable deployment. IMO if you're using a lot of mods it's simpler to have a dedicated install per game.

Granted, part of my setup is to toss all of the patchers and extra tools like DynDoLOD inside my MO folder. It allows me to just copy/paste the whole directory if I want to create mod lists for friends

Does it have collection support

There's Wabbajack. But I don't use collections as a lot of the modding community has some really weird preferences. There's tons of mods that a lot of collections use to make Skyrim more like Ubisoft games, which personally makes me mentally gag to think about.

and can you download mods from in the app?

I didn't know this was a thing and I honestly don't get why this would be an advantage over just using a browser. I often compare multiple similar mods before picking one to add, and I don't see how Vortex could beat a browser for that.

Well, after watching the United States trick liberals into being upset at Russia

Yeah, none of your comment is worth listening to after this. Slava Ukraini!

Mod Organizer 2, which has supported Linux for years

Or just pirate and emulate Nintendo games. They're such scumbags that they make piracy morally correct

Games have also gotten massively cheaper due to distribute due to digital downloads being the most common, and they're making way more sales due to gaming having a much larger audience.

The main reason these games have ridiculously inflated budgets are because execs are pushing for more management, which in turn push for oversized teams making design-by-committee out of fear of making something people don't like. The gamin industry doesn't get to make excuses anymore. Them being unable to reign in their development budgets aren't our problem. They need to figure out how to offer games at a lower price, because they're going to run out of customers willing to pay otherwise

Tbh, most AAA games are ass nowadays

I get a fair bit of mileage from Mangafox and Manga Read, though I just use their extensions in Mihon. No idea how their actual websites are

Agreed. Also, there's a lot of smaller 3D games that run at 30+, but end up being a bit choppy and tanks the battery life. Nowadays I just play 2D games on my Deck, then I get 3hr of battery life

Currently getting my first media server set up, and I'm wondering what the best directory would be for all the stored files. For reference, I'm working with Ubuntu server to follow the guide I'm using.

Mainly, I'm wondering if I should migrate /home/ to my RAID array, or leave /home/ where it is and create a new directory on the RAID array. Currently the server will just be for my use, but might expand it for others to use

I've been wanting a suppressor for my rifle for awhile, but with the incoming administration I'm worried about having my fingerprints on file due to the tax stamp. On the other hand, I'm seeing a bunch of people recommending suppressors on the subreddit and they don't seem to care. Is my worry reasonable or unfounded?

I'm looking into building my first NAS/Jellyfin server, and one thing I keep wondering about is whether I should try and make it work as a Sunshine server to stream games to my TV via Moonlight.

On my current desktop, I mainly do this for emulated games or former console exclusives. That being said, I'd rather not use my desktop as a server, hence wanting to cram it into a NAS/Jellyfin server. Is this a good idea? Or should I drop it and keep the media server separate?

Per the title, I remember TheDude mentioning that he will set up a way to donate money to help cover server expenses months back. I haven't seen a link yet and wondering if that's been done

As the title says, Yuzu is being a hassle. I'm having to reconfigure my controller every single session, which is extremely annoying when I'm streaming it through Moonlight/Sunshine and have to either walk all the way across the house to fix it or use the controller to emulate a mouse.

Also, Yuzu is "saving" my configurations, but only in name. Every time I open it up in the configuration menu, all my button remappings (ex: flipping face buttons) are reset to default.

Is there anyone willing and able to help with this?
