It's obvious that's what's happening. Vegans are coming out in droves arguing people shouldn't ever be put in jail simply because SBF is a vegan and they care more about their own than anyone else. They don't have to be. That's not the point of it: the point is to punish them or permanently keep them locked away. If we wanted to guarantee they'll never hurt anyone ever again, we'd execute them and still do in some states.
