I guess it depends on the subtitle type? I know some are just the spoken audio and some are descriptions of side conversations/surrounding noises as well. That said I’m one of those that reads faster than hearing but that’s due to bad hearing and my brain trying to figure out what it heard is slower than reading/hearing combined. Or even sometimes the subtitles are a bit fast so I’m still about even.

Maybe in pure technical experience. But to fully integrate the business logic, legacy logic, and new logic it’s going to take more than just LLMs (at least for now)
Ah yes, as they gain experience and learn they’re still just keyboard monkeys. Guess we should go back and try to type up some Shakespeare eh?
I wasn’t going to respond until I saw you mention car. I do think the Miata and the GR86 are solid built for drivers cars. They’re relatively inexpensive for a sports car too. That said, in regards to electronics I would say the deck is by far best. Trying to compare across categories is really tough though
I believe what they’re saying is that if UPS or FedEx is now the postal service they’ll put junk mail for their services in your mailbox. What you consider junk mail is other businesses paying the post office to send mail (though you may not like it).
Had a manual 2016 Mazda 3. Took a bit to find it with all the options I wanted but it was available at the time.
Reacher, invincible as well
Yes but also the more people that want e-books the more the library has to pay. I listened in on a reason they were closing a library branch and one reason was the publishers require full amounts for the e-books to be "licensed" and it only lasts for a couple years. Then they just pay for a full price book license again. So over time it's so much more expensive as the library has a reoccurring price they have to pay per book and can't even sell off old books to recoup an initial cost.
They even mentioned on the call that they tried to work with other counties to pool their bargaining power and the publishers don't care and won't give out any discounts.
I saw that message yesterday as well. I wanna say it's foreshadowing something major
There are people who made one for the GR86. Not sure about other models
Same energy as me. I pulled the whole DCM module from the car and got a bypass harness.
You know who also made rockets when they were younger? Homer Hickam who worked at NASA and was the person depicted in October Sky. I agree with the other commenter, if you haven’t talked to your kid in 10 years (during highly formative years too) you probably shouldn’t do an interview where you talk about who he is now.
