I remember as a kid doing Beijing - Changsha in 2 nights/3 days on the old bunk bed trains. It was kinda fun tbh because you stopped for a while at the bigger stations and you could buy street food from the vendors on the platform. But being able to do it in half a day now is so sweet. My parents live in Guangzhou now and they can see my grandparents who are still in Hunan any weekend they want (and they can visit). It’s really awesome how it’s enabled families to see each other more.

I oppose western Imperialism to the core. My question was mainly about why we only focus on one axis of struggle when I feel we should also act with solidarity for the oppressed of other countries.

Medication changed my life. My personality didn’t change, I was just more able to be myself. Idk if anyone else has mentioned it yet but the analogy I like is - with ADHD some days it feels like you’re dragging a dog around on its walk and some days you feel like you’re being dragged around by the dog. But on medication, you are the dog. You can just… do things

I am afab and present as cis and het. I was in love with a girl in high school but haven’t really been attracted to another woman since though I’ve had like romantic-adjacent feelings. I think I might be somewhere in the nb space but I don’t have dysphoria or anything I just don’t particularly feel engaged with the idea of femininity or gender at all
