overview for obvs

I tried to add a bunch of emojis, and none of them worked. When I try to click any of them, it says "Undefined" in the post. Since none of my added emojis have ever worked, I would like to delete them all and try adding them with new shortcodes. How do I do this, and what should be the format of a shortcode(as what I was trying obviously was not accepted)?

Having prisoners do work for the prison gives incentive to pay them less, which gives government incentive to put more people in prison, which gives government incentive to make things illegal that shouldn't be illegal. None of that should be allowed. They should be allowed to do work at whatever rate they are able to get work for(likely remote work), and should receive 100% of their compensation like any other employee, with a certain amount taken out for the cost of housing and food.

Oh, well that's a great argument.

After all, we know that Republicans in power only misuse power if Democrats have used the same power previously.

Hi. I got a new instance of Lemmy up on my server, but outgoing emails aren't working with Gmail. I have a paid account with Gmail, and previously have used outgoing mail with other services(like phpbb and Mastodon), and they worked. If you can provide some help, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!
