I'll acknowledge that this particular breed may be responsible for the most aggressive dog attacks, but I'd also assume there's a correlation between aggression in dogs and the environment they're brought up in.

It's the nature vs nurture debate but for K9s. Both are probably legitimate factors. But I'd argue, give a pit bull a loving home and good training - something all dogs deserve - and they'll never hurt a soul.

Problem is, idiots with no respect for animals tend to seek out "tough" dog breeds and torture them until they're ready too attack anyone and everyone. Fuck people. People=Shit.

Cool. But couldn't watch that video. The monotonal voice is unbearable. They're obviously incredibly intelligent, but I find it interesting that speaking naturally is a challenge.

Thanks, just watched a few and they're great!

I'm looking for a short video that kind of explains how my brain works and just generally why I am the way I am, so that I can share it with my family. If anyone has and nice clips please link them. Cheers

Finally got confirmation of what I've always known. Feeling conflicted. Relieved and happy I now have validation. But feeling angry and grieving the life I could have had if I was diagnosed sooner. Still plenty of time to find my groove I suppose.

Is it because they know that Russian porn is better than American porn?

I can't argue with that

Didn't need to hack the case up, could have simply removed it all together

Hey everyone, I'm planning on setting up my first home server this year. Going to use an old Dell Optiplex with a couple 4tb SSD's.

I only need two services running. Jellyfin and immich. I've tested this out in a debian netinstall VM and it works.

Just looking for helpful hints or advice etc. I'm a long time Linux and BSD user and I'm tempted to try it out using Alpine Linux or even NetBSD (my daily driver os) but I thought I'd be sensible and go with Debian for.... Stability?

Anyway, immich is run in a container whereas jellyfin has a binary install. Apparently you can run jellyfin in a container also, not sure I really need to tho?

Thank you for any hints or advice.

So I'm kind of using 9front for the first time and I really like it. It's really quite a simple operating system. There has certainly been a learning curve coming from Linux and BSD, but I'm getting there. Just need to set up Mail, Faces and an IRC client next.

So far I've just edited the theme, set up a couple functions, customised my riostart, edited the winwatch source code to reduce the padding etc. Everything I've done is pretty much in the acme window.

I've connected to the 9p VPS through rcpu which I find much better than using draw term. Although I suppose I'll need to use draw term to complete challenge two, set up faces for neinbook.

I'm hoping to learn how to edit the main right click menu so I can add launch commands for acme and netsurf. I also would like to edit the new window command to enable -scroll in all new windows. Any tips are welcome and appreciated.

Title.

Basically, I've had an account on lemmy.ml for a while and now I've moved to lemmy.sdf.org and I can't seem to see my previous posts from my lemmy.ml account.

G'day ladies, gentlemen, and all gender non-conforming or non-binary individuals of the Fediverse.

Consider this an #introduction of sorts. I am an ex-Redditor but I'm not new to Lemmy, SDF or the Fediverse. I watched on Mastodon as hordes of people migrated from the imploding bird site and it was wonderful to see. Now watching Reddit push their users towards Lemmy, I'm excited for the future of the internet. A much needed web revolution is upon us.

If you haven't yet, check out mastodon.sdf.org, matrix.sdf.org and pixelfed.sdf.org for more SDF federated goodness. Tell Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and all other social media giants to get stuffed. Cheers
