My prediction is Michelle Obama, because she’s already well known and polls well. It would basically be voting for a 3rd Obama term which plenty of libs would die for.

A couple of thoughts:
- I seem to recall the French electoral left being plagued by infighting and factionalism. They really came together this election and turned it around.
- Electoralism is ultimately a dead end, of course, but I feel like the French left leans more into direct action than their more timid counterparts in places like the US. Seems like this gives them an edge that other western left movements don't have.
I'm not French so maybe I'm way off on this. Please correct me if so.

I've read a bit of the manga and while the base character/setting isn't bad (especially for the 1980's), there's some odd plot points and problematic aspects. I feel like it could be sooooooo much better if redone for a modern audience. I mean, a trans girl dealing with trans issues who's also both a badass and a yakuza boss' daughter has so much more potential imo. Maybe we could reach out to the mangaka and crowd fund a reboot or something.
If you ever need to bully a cis person, you could always say something like, "Nice name... DID YOUR MOM PICK IT OUT FOR YOU??"
