The README should be the first thing you write, not the last.
If you follow a βdocs driven developmentβ approach then you use the README (and other docs) to guide the design of the project, and wind up with something that is categorically more usable as a result.
That makes the README both the most important step and the earliest because it lays the foundation for the project.
That also means you canβt use AI to write it because itβs starting from a clean slate.
You also shouldnβt use it because thatβs the part that is the most important thing to carefully think through.

I sympathize with that position but the letters of Paul are still important because they are the oldest Christian writings we have. All gospels were written later based on the various oral traditions that had been passed down.
Paul was neither a disciple nor in charge of the church, but he was the only one whose writings survived to this day.
As such, even though the letters of Paul are arguably the least authoritative books in the New Testament, they are the most authentic.
I would strongly NOT recommend treating Paulβs opinions as guidelines for how to live your life, but they still provide valuable insight into the character of the early church.
