Weiter der Plattform Android das Vertrauen zu schenken anstatt die Ressourcen für gjtw Linux Phones einzusetzen, naja...

Title should have something like "Steam Deck only version" in it IMO.

This is not a general Linux version and will only download on a Steam Deck, not a generic Linux PC, as per my reading of the article

Unfortunately I have no other option since I am using Bluefin (based on Fedora Silverblue, i.e. atomic distro) and they seem to refuse to build the Flatpak themselves

Yeah, we get it, Proton does not fit the activist threat model. But neither does Email and PGP in general.

Use QubesOS and SimpleX or Briar or something. For exclusively private use Proton suffices.

Or you could always use Tor to connect to Proton services etc.

Unfortunately complying with such requests is the reality of a legal entity/company within reach...

IIRC there is are community Flatpaks for most of their apps and they work fine.

Like I have Proton Mail/Calendar, VPN and Pass all installed on my Bluefin workstation
