I haven’t accused anyone not even you! But you seem to be complete delusional just repeating racist and xenophobia against China without any proof, that’s what I asked and you just go on a rant about China or matter of about any country that isn’t part of the white western nations.

The only thing you mentioned that is real is China is a dictatorship, it is on their constitution “Dictatorship of the people”.

I’m sure you want the good of Canada but like everyone else has been heavily influenced by western propaganda to dismiss China or any other Country that isn’t white western nation!

Not negotiating with dictatorship means no trade between Canada and Saudi Arabia, United States, Hungary, Turkey, Israel.

  • Why China isn’t a reliable partner? Can you back your information with real data?
  • why China supply chain isn’t transparent? Do you work in the industry? Have you visited China to check the suppliers?
  • “China shields itself from foreign competition” isn’t what we just did with Chinese evs to protect from competition?

Canada needs to diversify the trade to rely less on the USA. The current gov has a huge problem on their hands but also opportunities to do something new!

When it comes to the EV tariffs I see opportunities for Canada, we have factories, some of the raw materials, Human Resources, experienceand logistics in place for the automotive industry! The Ev industry needs more than the cars there is a new ecosystem that can be worked with Chinese companies by doing knowledge transfer, manufacture autos + parts by bringing the suppliers as well. EVs need batteries and the charging network, we can bring these items to the trade talks.

China al has the largest high-speed rail network and why not expand the deals to help Canada build our high-speed rail Network?

I don’t think tanks, missiles and boots on the ground cares too much about elections! Trump is a facist and he’ll use the American empire military and economic force to bend other nations to his will!

Any “leader” of a Latin American country aligned with the USA is essentially American Operatives such as Javier, Jair Bolsonaro, Michel Temer( American Spy according to wiki leaks).

Loopholes aren’t bugs but features! In a capitalist society, the laws are made by the wealthy and the ones they sponsor to be representatives!

Brazilian here, the court couldn’t find anyone in Brazil that represents X to pay the fines and to block the accounts spreading lies about the anti-democratic events of January of last year. Since Elon Musk is one of the major shareholder of both companies they connected the dots and Starlink has representatives in Brazil their account was frozen in order to get the fines owed by Musk’s other company. Later the government found out Starlink was not blocking access to X as any other internet provided was instructed to do so.

Musk is a big supporter of Far-right Brazilians including former president Bolsonaro and his political allies. It was during Bolsonaro’s government that Brazilian army switched to use Starlink.

The free speech agenda that Musk is advertising is not the main issue here but a government that goes against Musks interests and his companies.

When did the US change from America first policy? It’s been the same since its inception!

So you don’t like the term capitalism, what is the synonym you use instead?

Do you think our society doesn’t live under the capitalism system or the fact the problem is the capitalism it doesn’t go well with you?

By the way I’m not judging you by any means, I just want to understand your point of view!

Market has always existed before capitalism! We are lead to believe the market would exist if not in a capitalist society! I just recently joined the mailing list from https://marxist.ca/ to know more! I’m not part of the group but reading the resources can guide you to overcome the myths and lies about socialism and communism!

There isn’t any easy fix to something complex as our current socioeconomic arrangement, however we should point out the root cause of our current affairs is due to the nature of capitalism!

This is just one of the effects of late stage capitalism in a first world country! Any suggestion other than move from a capitalist society is like treating cancer with rubbing alcohol!
