Feeds offer algorithm transparency and you can use alternative frontends. ATProto can't suddenly be turned to private and disable third party access, it is intrinsically public.

The seed money came from Twitter, allocated by Jack Dorsey and he had a position on the board that he didn't really make use of. He literally left because he is against centralised moderation and didn't have enough influence to prevent bsky implementing it.

RIP coolio. I remember the last thing I heard about him before his death was via the podcast Search Engine. He was deep in crypto and was at some sustainability in crypto conference.

Honestly, everyone needs to listen to the episode of Search Engine about Elon. It’s such a clear narrative of what happened between the Iron Man cameo and now. It’s pure hubris - someone who is very unlikable desperately hungry for love to the point where his brain bust a fuse.

Libertarianism at its core is just a rejection of your responsibility for the things you benefit from in society that you didn’t personally play a role in crafting. There’s a reason white supremacists find it fertile ground for justifying their position.
