When no one has saved a snapshot yet, it asks me if I want to, and I tell it yes, and then it creates a snapshot, and I can see the site. Is that what you mean, when you say it fails? That you have to say yes to it making a snapshot?

I've had really good results with using archive.is - Just throw that in front of a link with a forward slash and you're good to go.
Like archive.is/https://example.com/

Never had an issue yet. There was one time where a page looked a bit weird on my phone, and I couldn't see the very last paragraph of the article. But enabling desktop mode in my browser fixed it.

Thank you for the info :) I've read your other posts on the matter, so I know it's been a never-ending battle. Thank you for running this service and thank you for the reminder on donations! I'm going to swing by Ko-Fi this weekend.

For anyone else that sees this, here's the page for all the donation options.

Out of curiosity, is there a place that we can follow along with what the expenses are for running Fedia.io? I think a lot of people, including myself, don't really have a sense of what the costs are for running a service like this.
Something like the operating costs for infosec.exchange? Although I realize that one isn't current either, but at least it also states that the numbers on there, are lower than the actual current costs.

I'd hate for this place to ever end up in the same place as lemm.ee, where so many people were surprised by the shutdown, not realizing how dire the situation was, and how much more help was needed. Although it sounds like you're already being smart and mitigating by consolidating things.

Is the trial run over? When I try and share this link https://fedia.io/m/fedia/t/2266243/Anonymous-access-to-fedia-io-reenabled-for-a-trial-run with friends, they are asked to login.

I actually find it interesting that you chose that specific image to make your point about inflated lips, because comparing the lips on the first image with the ones that follow, only solidifies my belief in that being due to weight loss, lighting and makeup. I can definitely recommend people look at YouTube videos of what can be done with makeup and proper lighting! It's really wild how much it can make lips look a lot bigger, and for people who don't know a lot about makeup, it can be quite the eye-opener. I've included 4 videos that show off some techniques for it.

Apparently the actor playing Starlight, Erin Moriarty, has an autoimmune disease, which made her lose a lot of weight. When I look at pictures of her before and after, and also how she looks now, a couple of years after the plastic surgery allegations, I can definitely believe that it's weight loss, lighting and makeup that accounts for people's reaction to some of the photos she posted, and not plastic surgery.

Allow me to introduce myself ;)

I quit smoking 9 years ago, because it was getting too expensive. Which definitely made it harder for me to quit, because I didn't stop because I wanted to. Back then prices for the brand I bought were "only" at 4.69 euro / 5.48 usd, but I knew it was only going to get worse from there. Now they're at 8.04 eur / 9.40 usd, and I'm so happy I quit, but even more so because of my health, which I didn't care about back then.

EDIT: Just checked, and it was actually 9 years ago, not 8.

That's what I usually end up doing! So I'm glad to hear that.

This is what I imagine Zootopia fanfiction is like.

I didn't consider that, but I think that's a really good point. It makes sense to me, because I could see myself applying that kind of logic. Makes the 30ish min. rule make more sense.

That actually makes a lot of sense, when you think about it like that. I appreciate your contribution to science, by accidently burning yourself regularly and noting the results ;)

Y'know, that's a good way to put it, and exactly the kind of point I needed to see, in order to put it into perspective.
