I hear what you're saying but I'd say the letter is more to hold government to account than anything else. On both sides.
As in- this is what is happening, we see it, hold fast on commitments you've made. If you don't it'll be obvious to see.
Publicly 'calling out' both parties so attention is brought to the result of the talks is a good thing.
I would absolutely recommend Soetsu Yanagi's The Beauty of Everyday Things.
It's not wabi-sabi per se but it does touch on themes that align with the idea.
It's focus is on 'mingei' - which is less metaphysical and more about folk craft specifically and its socio-cultural, and ethical significance.
I do tend to agree. As someone with little international politics accumen, is anyone able to explain why Israel has this seeming 'untouchable' status? Or at least why countries are so reticent in their calling out of Israel's atrocities?

Usually 1:1 but I like a rich 2:1 syrup for things like an old fashioned or a sour sans egg white. Rich syrup is also great if you're batching.
