My wife does the tagging so I don't know the details. But it's ID3 tags and she sets a custom "mood" tag. So it might look something like this "genre: classical, instrumental" but another tag "mood: chill; quiet". Many players don't recognize this but it originally came from her using musicbee on windows. We do set multiple values in genre but she likes having the separate mood one as well. And we use rating which is another some player ignore. All of these she uses to build smart playlists.

Not exactly referring to that but kinda. We like to add custom tags that we decide for each track and then build playlists from those tags. So a playlist might have a genre tag but also, for example, the tag "relaxing" so a playlist is made up of all songs with those tags (playlist of all songs tagged both with "classical" and "relaxing").

Does this support custom tags and smart playlists built from the tags? I've been looking for a self hosted service that does that for so long.

Hey friends, I just bought a ASUS Nvidia 5060 ti prime at a store closing sale. I have bazzite installed on my gaming PC and switching out it's old nvidia gpu with the 5060 worked out mostly fine but I seem to have the blank screens on reboot problem that requires a VBIOS/firmware update. Issue is I cannot run the tool or ASUS's tool because both are made for windows. Is there a recommended way to fix this issue in linux? I found some references to a tool called "nvflash" but there's many sources with that name and I am not confident to just try one. Also I'm not sure which VBIOS/firmware version I need. I spent hours at this point trying to find a way to temporarily have windows (windows live usb?) just to run one of these tools but I cannot find a way that works for that either, outside of installing windows over my bazzite install. Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks for this! In going to set this up for myself.

I'm actually using this one which seems to be more actively maintained than the one you linked.

Working on automating tasks so I don't have to block out hours of time a week managing everything. Just got watchtower running and going to see how it does before trying out some other automations.

That looks great. Thanks for posting here, I'm going to check this out.

I've heard so much about this game. Didn't know there was a GBA version. Gonna check it out, thanks!

Weird, doesn't look green in the picture.

What case is that?! I've been looking for a clear blue like this for so long.

Installing via aurora will not help. AA still knows it wasn't installed via google play. The only work around I've heard about is to root your phone and use some tool to edit the install source. But I've not tried that myself.

This is a known issue with Android Auto itself. It doesn't allow any navigation app to be loaded into AA that wasn't installed by Google Play. Try installing CoMaps via Google Play and it will appear in AA. Only navigation apps are affected by this.

I installed EmuDeck on my Steam Deck. I haven't done any custom configs or anything, just using the EmuDeck installed defaults. To run Pokemon SoulSilver it is using the retroarch core melonds. I can load up my saves on the deck, play them, then save a new one no problem. I recently got syncthing running on the deck to sync my saves to other devices. On all my other devices when I start the game (using the same core in retroarch) and press start I get an in game error that seems to be from the core or rom itself, definitely not from retroarch, that reads "A communication error has occurred. You will be returned to the title screen. Please press the A Button."

Is there something EmuDeck changes from the standard RetroArch settings for saves? I've tried to find something that could cause this issue but I cannot find an important seeming setting in the UI that could cause this and I'm starting to lose my mind.

I've been setting up and testing prometheus and grafana for about a week now, since that seems to be the universally accepted solution for self-hosted monitoring. But I'm starting to question why it is so accepted. On top of prometheus not seeming useful on it's own (needing grafana to visualize and alertmanager for alerts) it feels like with each thing i want to monitor I have to spin up another docker container to export/gather the data. There are other options like LibreNMS that seems to have all that built into one container. So what does this Prometheus/Grafana stack have that other monitoring services don't? Is it really worth having to set up each of these specialized exporters and dashboards? Or am I mistaken that it's the main solution everyone uses? Are you using something different for monitoring?
