Just like the box of screws my great grand father passed down to my grand father, then to my father and finally to me. This multigenerational collection of screws from goodness knows where will keep growing until I bestow it on the heir to my estate.

This is my favourite whenever people try to weaponise the Bible. Jesus said that he is the fulfilment of “the law and the prophets”, and even goes so far as to say some of the laws that were given were only because of how messed up the people of Israel were. If Jesus is the fulfilment of “the law and the prophets”, then what he says is authoritative over what is written in the Old Testament.
As an aside, in the Old Testament “God’s wrath” is most often seen in the form of letting a nation destroy themselves (usually Israel) by doing whatever they want instead of what God instructed them to do, which essentially boils down to the verses I originally quoted. Usually that meant being conquered by another nation or famine. Some may say that same sort of thing is playing out for MAGA. The people claiming to represent God have been doing exactly the opposite of what he told them to do, and now they’re getting what they wanted but it’s destroying them.
““Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Legality is to do with punishment. There are many things which I may not agree with 'morally' for whatever reason but by the same token I do not by any means believe people should be punished for those things, provided they do not hurt another person. E.g I've been vegetarian for 20+ years, and I strongly disagree with excessive consumption of meat on moral grounds, but I don't think anyone should be punished for eating meat.
I would love to switch to LibreOffice (or similar) but I haven’t been able to find a way to get tables to work in the same way they do in Excel, and that’s a deal breaker for me. None of the suggested approaches come close to being able to select a range, press ctrl+t and immediately be able to filter/sort/lookup using column names from anywhere in the document. I use that feature dozens of times a day, and so does everyone in my circles that deals with financial data.
Has anyone used this as part of a domain? I'm trying to find a replacement for Windows 10 to run on Skylake-era hardware at the small company I work for. I'll probably end up just using Ubuntu but I'd really like to try something more... Modern
If I did, I guarantee every item in my life held together with screws will work its way loose out of spite, and that’s not a risk I’m willing to take
