Bah, it's the exact opposite here in the UK. Cities want to build bike lanes and it's the people who keep stopping them.

Should private businesses really be allowed to dictate to us what and when we can eat or drink? If you consider that human right, I'm not sure they should.

This was the sort of thing, along with the wonderful tradition of daytime children's educational television and nighttime Open University television, that was the inspiration for Look Around You. I can imagine kids in the 80s being forced to watch this by a computer hating teacher!
