Just because science doesn't have consensus on everything doesn't mean we should abandon scientific consensus.
To be frank, I don't like this common neoliberal talking point that's like "if men lose access to stable jobs, they're entitled misogynists" this is a sex reductionist take.
Men and women, should both be entitled to good paying jobs. The elites want men and women fighting each other over meagre scraps.
We talk about the ills of fossil fuels, even consumerism. But not enough attention on how suburban sprawl, and detached single family homes cause environmental destruction.
Few corrections tho, salafi / wahhabism is only official in Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Other Muslim governments sponsor Madhabbism, which is just as conservative.
Secondly, no salafi says hadith is above Qur'an. That's a straw man to be frank. Muslims say it's equal to Qur'an. Both salafis and madhabbis rank it equivalent to Qur'an.
The Qur'an also was fully standardized 18 years after the prophet died, not immediately.

True, which is why we use the general consensus of several scholars. Just like for the US Constitution we use the general consensus of several legal scholars.
