~~Is there any way to install this on Android?~~

Should have read the page first. There are very simple instructions for installing on Android.

Home economics and shop class used to be pretty common, but most folks don't take them anymore either because they aren't offered or students aren't aware they exist.

His dumb attempt to set this up to try and avoid the blowback he got the last time he caved is infuriating. It's like he can't possibly standup for what he thinks is right. If he believes we should never shutdown the government, he should say so and own the consequences.

I can't tell if he's incredibly cynical or condescending that he thinks we're all morons that can't see through his lame attempt to frame the narrative.

As it turns out, I'm just an idiot.

The "4m" meant 4 minutes...not 4 months 😬.

This just popped up on my "Home" feed, but I see it's an older post.

I tend to agree that communities should have commenting open. If they don't want comments, then social media isn't the place to post.

In terms of removing posts: my opinion is if they are legal to discuss (as you mentioned), and they're not harassing folks, then they should be allowed to stay.

From why I see, Amazon seems to use electric trucks almost exclusively around Portland.

FedEx, UPS, and USPS are still mostly running on gas.

It's been a while since I read Frank Miller's The Dark Knight, but Bruce Wayne is an older man in that series. It also kicks ass.

Agreed.

Also, I don’t remember all of the details, but there was an early 20th century peace treaty that some in the losing country considered unfair, and that ended…well?

Being laid into? Personal preference.

I'd guess it's not as bad as it is in CA, but this is starting to happen in my neighborhood in Portland, OR.

Houses are getting more expensive, so sellers are getting more and more offers from wealthy investors buying them to rent them out. Since people can't afford a home, they go ahead and rent the house (at least around us).

Its a bummer because the rent continually increases, so folks typically cannot stay there for too many years. For the renters, the rent is around what a mortgage payment would be at current interest rates, so they're not saving a lot of money.

The house across the street was sold when mortgage rates were ~3%, so the owners are making a good amount on the house. I just happen to hate that it's ruining our neighborhood, and I'd like more families with kids to move on to our street.
