By that logic digital media can't exist because the data has to be stored on something physical eventually.

It was probably Epstein spending time with Barron.

Oh lovely, then the handful I see on various posts in the thread are coming from my own instance. Wonderful

As a gay guy, even I don't think you should insult vaginas like this

It was hard not to reflexively down vote because of how vile this is.

I can't believe you got him under the tree rather than on top of it

When someone is so mad they start losing their hair, a contraction of mad and balding.

In Stars And Time has a bit of this.

So the crash still occurred when you were running off the older windows install? Just checking. But have you tried running in safe mode and seeing if the issue still occurs?

You'll want to comb over the motherboard's settings in the BIOS. Some newer boards especially gaming focused ones have dynamic boost clocking on by default and this can push stuff out of spec.

I'm thinking about buying a new PC in the next month or two. I don't play a whole lot of recent games, though it'd be nice to have the option, and I think I'd probably end up with a capable GPU anyway if I want something capable of 3d rendering like Blender, and possibly fooling around with local LLMs.

Function wise, I'm thinking I want a solid CPU, and to stack it with RAM, VRAM, and storage. and I think liquid cooling might be overrated if I don't plan to OC it. It'll also likely be migrating to Linux in a year or two when Windows 10 finally dies, if there are hardware concerns with that.

Aesthetics wise, Mainly I am not too interested in having everything be RGB. I would also prefer plastic paneling over glass; my computer case hangs from a desk mount and in the unlikely event that it has a structural failure I'd like to be more worried about the computer hardware than picking shards out of my skin.

I'm not opposed to building something myself from parts, but I wouldn't mind looking at builders / pre built as an option.

It's probably already on your radar but I didn't see a thread* about it so I figured I would mention it.

Seen 502 when trying to load the main page, and on occasion when viewing my feed on mobile web the page would transition to a 503 or 504 error seemingly without my input.

Hi,

Every so often, when I try to browse to https://fedia.io through my browser bookmark, I receive an error resolving the domain. Firefox suggests https://www.fedia.io but navigating there gives me an HSTS error (picture attached, hopefully.)

Usually, if I check back 15 minutes or so after this occurs, https://fedia.io will load normally, and then https://www.fedia.io actually loads the landing page for:

Books.Infosec.Exchange A Bookwyrm Instance for Infosec.Exchange

I'm not quite sure if this is an issue with my network or a problem with the instance itself. However, I thought I would report it. Let me know if there is any other information I can provide that will be helpful in figuring this out.

Title. I found out recently that I need some major dental work in the near future and I don't have a damn clue how I am going to raise the extra money. I want to explore any realistic options for increasing my earnings before I have to resort to taking on debt, and I suspect that soliciting ideas in a semi-public place like this will turn up a lot of ideas I would never have considered myself.

I'm not very physically fit, but I am pretty good with computers generally, and I've picked up a little bit of programming in my free time this year, though I wouldn't sell myself as a freelancer in that department or anything. I am also pretty good at proofreading / nitpicking things, my regular job is in QA.

Thank you in advance for any input.
