I know more than 1 of those, so not perfect but for an American I'm probably above average (Kwame Nkrumah, Nelson Mandela, and Julius Nyerere).

With techological progression you can work 16 hour weeks and just chill and everyone can chill once the work necessary to maintain civilization is satisfied.
Oh, what I wouldn't give for that reality. If I could just get through to people that we only work as much as we do because we must have enough bullshit jobs to satisfy the greed of the capitalists. If we restructured away from shit we don't need to worrying about socially necessary labors, we could all work a lot less and have a much higher quality of life.

Marx Madness has been my jam, got me through a ton of theory. Just finished Black Reconstruction which was one hell of a journey. Looking forward to Neo-colonialism next

I definitely need to re-read some of the books because my brain loses stuff too quickly but they'll be easier to get through the second time now that I have some context already.

Businesses can discriminate based on sexual orientation again (303 Creative v. Elenis), Student Debt Relief killed (though we knew that would happen), and Required Affirmative Action for college admissions struck down. Those are the three big ones in the last week I remember.
I don't blame you. I'm straight but I worry for the safety of my LGBTQ+ friends and family. The current and ongoing success of reactionary forces undoing decades of small victories is horrifying.
They missed the bigger point there. I don't want to be a fucking billionaire. I just want to be able to afford housing, food, clothing, and a fucking vacation once in awhile, without needing a drowning amount of debt to do any of that. Also, I'd like to have better transit options because I'm currently entirely car dependent.
It's what happens when fascists roll through town and decide they can improve art.
