Well I mean he's the lefts guy. Not that he's actually progressive, he definitely didn't give a shot about the housing bubble when he was the governor of the BoC.

There's a great book called sum: forty tales from the afterlife I read recently that is great. If you're looking for suggestions.

Thats our monetary policy. People must consume more every year to create more inflation, as technology actively reduces the price of goods.

If goods get cheaper we have deflation, they create more money supply via lower interest rates, and the price of inelastic shelter gets bid up, and asset holders receive a value windfall until prices rise. Which is why we are at a higher price to income ratio than 2007.

People born closer to the gold standard are richer, they got in when currency wasnt tethered to consumption.

Carney said he was going to cut 28b in government spending via AI. If that isn't DOGE in a nutshell I don't know what is.

At the same time we will have nearly double the immigration numbers the Cons want, into an extreme housing shortage. Specifically a 1% cap of 430k, making them the party of cheap corporate labor.

All great things if you own equities and assets, but if you're poor you get a yearly 500$ dental check funded entirely by debt and future austerity, as they've already rolled back the capital gains hikes.

Doomberg says he thinks he wants Carney to win, since the only way a pipeline is getting built to Europe is if a left leaning government does it.

Though even Sysadmin is going to be managing a SaaS cloud service or a self managed docker container on an automatically provisioned hyperconverged SAN, so its going to be obsolete in a decade. Chromebooks are where we are headed, and Google also saw the future a decade ago.

He would be the first person in modern history to cut the government if he succeeded, even Reagan didn't despite the rhetoric. I think Clinton had the end of the Soviets which I am not counting.

Though if you asked these people if they felt they should have higher taxes to pay for it, due to aging demographics and higher borrowing rates, they would say no as well. So what do you do?

You still get banned here too. The mods can disagree politically and just ban you as they can on reddit.

I don't believe in pushing any stereotypes in aggregate. Just as I wouldn't say he was a Chinese Commie who can't drive.

Was recommended this because I love Final Fantasy 5, but it was just a terrible experience. The quests felt like I was playing an mmo they were so boring and uninspired, and the classes and skills all sucked.

Was I just not giving it a fair shake, does it eventually get better, at the moment I can't see how anyone enjoys this.

I'm looking at making some roasted purple yams that I tried at an asian supermarket, I was wondering how they were so chewy and delicious. Do they normally have additives, like some kind of marinade or something that make them so tasty, or are they just naturally that good with standard roasting?
